Ticketing & registration staffing FAQs.

Can I request ticketing and registration staff in one booking?

Yes. List the roles, numbers, duties and shifts for each desk or entry point. A conference might need delegate check-in and badge collection in the morning, followed by scanning and guest welcomes for an evening reception.

Do staff use our ticketing or registration platform?

Describe your chosen system, access, devices and process in the enquiry. Include the briefing, onsite support and authorised contact supplied so the work and training requirements can be clearly defined.

What equipment should I include in the brief?

List scanners, tablets or laptops, connectivity, chargers, printers, prepared badges, lanyards, wristbands, signage and any desk setup your event requires. Explain what the organiser or venue supplies and identify additional equipment or supplier enquiries separately.

How many check-in staff do I need?

Share total attendance, expected arrivals by time, the number of entrances and desks, and what each guest needs to do. Badge collection, registration amendments and QR scanning can take different amounts of time. Include help-desk and break coverage rather than choosing numbers from attendance alone.

Can I enquire for several cities or event days?

Yes. Give each date, city, venue and entry point its own headcount and local shift times. Use the same brief for a roadshow or multi-day programme, with any changes to systems, duties or arrival peaks made clear.

Who handles invalid tickets, guest-list changes or admission decisions?

Provide an organiser-approved escalation process and the onsite person authorised to resolve exceptions. Staff can assist with the scanning or check-in steps in their brief and direct questions to that contact.

Does this enquiry include online ticket sales or event software?

This is a staffing enquiry for people supporting your event’s registration and admission process. Specify the platform, ticketing arrangements and equipment being used, and list any separate software, equipment or supplier request in your brief.

Can I combine arrivals with hospitality and event crew?

Yes. Request bar staff, wait staff, promotional teams or general crew alongside your entry team. Keep each role, service area and shift separate so arrival duties and hospitality coverage are clear.
